Over the bridge and north: brick streets in Fulton, ridge-top houses at Holts Summit and farm ground all the way to the interstate.
Callaway County starts for us at the far end of the bridge. Cross the Missouri north out of Jefferson City and the ground climbs straight into Holts Summit; keep going and the county opens out into farmland, small towns and long stretches of highway before it hits the interstate at Kingdom City. The county seat, Fulton, sits about half an hour from our base and is worth every minute of the drive — brick streets, a downtown that has kept its buildings, and residential blocks with some of the best porches and gables in mid-Missouri.
What Callaway asks of an installer is mostly range. In one week we might be outlining a storefront downtown, wrapping the yard trees at a farmhouse a dozen miles out a county road, and running a clean line of C9s along a new build on a ridge. The method does not change: measure the building itself, cut every run to fit it, hang it all on clips with no staples, screws or holes, set the timer, and test it after dark before calling it finished.
The distance is handled by grouping. Callaway installs are scheduled together so a crew works the county rather than crossing the river four times in a day — which is why those weeks fill early, and why we would rather hear from you in August than in December.
Where we work in Callaway County

- Holts Summit — the closest Callaway stop to our base, just over the river
- New Bloomfield — small-town rooflines with the school at the center of things
- Auxvasse and Kingdom City — the northern end, along Highway 54 and the interstate
Farm properties and rural addresses between those towns — out toward Mokane, Tebbetts, Hams Prairie and Steedman — are quoted the same way as anything else. Long drives, outbuildings and standalone yard trees are ordinary work, not an exception.
Is there a minimum for a rural address?
No minimum job size, but there is honesty about drive time: the further out you are, the more it helps if we can put you in the same week as other Callaway work. Ask when you call and we will tell you plainly which weeks make the most sense for your road.
Can you light barns and outbuildings?
Yes, and they are often the best thing on the property. Metal buildings, long shed rooflines and machine sheds all take clips well, and they read from a distance in a way a house alone does not.
Do you take everything down?
In January, included in the same price. Lights are removed, coiled, labeled and stored until next fall — no bins in the barn, and nothing left clipped to a gutter through the summer.
